I know...I Know...so far behind on this blog...I blame swimming lessons. They themselves are only thirty minutes (well actually we get lucky and get extra time snuck in there) but the prepping before and then dealing with the girls after takes alot of time...that is my excuse for this week anyways :). By the way Lexi is catching up with her sister, Izzi has always been off the charts on height, Lexi hit the 99% this past checkup. She has also been increasing her vocabulary, saying words like ball, stop, go, off, up, drink and her favorite which she is also signing below, EAT.

In addition to swimming lessons we have had some fun this summer playing around the house, at Dollywood, the Smokies ( okay so I got lost driving up there but it was a nice drive and Lexi had a good nap...darn GPS), splash pads/ playgrounds around town. But mostly just thrilled with the progress we have seen with Izzi during the past four weeks of lessons. She went from refusing to get in the pool to now paddling (and running) around the pool with just a noodle. TODAY she said "Izzi go under" and then counted to three and went underwater on her own!! Several times. This is huge progress for her. One more day of lessons this summer :(. We will definitely have to look at continuing through the school year.
